The SATLUG mailing list is dedicated to promoting Linux and to educating the public about the benefits of this remarkable OS. This list is intended for the exchange of information pertaining to Linux for all people living in the greater San Antonio area. The mailing list is currently open to the general public for participation, and it is not moderated. All submissions are archived and will be made available on the SATLUG website for browsing. Your subscription to the mailing list enables you to post questions and comments from the email address from which you subscribed. Please observe the general rules for netiquette and respect for others when posting to this list. Note especially that SATLUG's mailing list reaches a wide audience, including youth. Please refrain from posting profanity or other offensive material. Using SATLUG
To post a message to all the list members, send email to satlug.12032005@satlug.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to SATLUG
Subscribe to SATLUG by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
