SATLUG meetings for 2008-2009 will be held according to the following schedule:

Meetings will be held at the San Antonio College Nail Technical Center, room 25B. Look for number 4 on this map. Please direct any questions regarding upcoming meetings to the mailing list. The meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.
Presentations are varied are normally announced in the mailing list shortly before the meeting day. If you would like to suggest a topic or vote for someone else's suggestion, visit the Topics page.
New. The 2009 Open Source Fest will be held at San Antonio College please visit often for new date. The current schedule is at Open Source Fest 2009.

We have audio from Joe Barr's presentation described below in Ogg Vorbis format and MP3 format.
We also have an Ogg Vorbis presentation for the July 2007 meeting and the Open Document Presentation Slides. The presentation on Enterprise Virtualization was by Ernest de Leon.
Fldigi, written by David Freese, W1HKJ, is capable of operating CW, several versions of PSK and other digital modes. Fldigi is written for the Linux operating system and is available on his website http://www.w1hkj.com. There is a "Live CD" with Fldigi on it so that individuals running a Microsoft operating system can boot off of the Live CD and try Fldigi. Fldigi has been featured in QST magazine.
WiKi: We now have a wiki available. Create your own web pages. Share tips and hints on Linux topics. Update info started by others. Visit the Wiki to get started or just look around.
InstallFest: Each semester, SATLUG, holds an Linux Install Fest in the early weeks of classes primarily for the benefit of students but open to the public.
The next InstallFest will be held at the Nail Technical Center, room 105, on the San Antonio College campus. The InstallFest will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, January 31, and will continue until we are finished later that day. As always, volunteers are greatly appreciated.
Speaking of SAC...
San Antonio College Department of Computer Information Systems: Classes are offered in Programming, Scripting, Administration, Networking, Security, Databases, Cisco and that other OS. In what skill areas are you interesting in making personal advancement refreshment or improvements? Tuition is free for those over 65 and only $300 for 2 classes per semester for the rest of us. And you can't beat the $21 parking pass!
XCSSA Meeting: Exotic Computer Systems of San Antonio holds their monthly meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month. They also meet at SAC's Nail Technical Center in room 025B.
